Armig worked in the Los Angeles office of a national law firm, where she focused on labor and employment law, defending corporate employers in single-plaintiff and class action litigation. She regularly represented Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes matters, including wage and hour class actions, sexual harassment, and racial discrimination claims. That experience gave her a deep understanding of how employers assess exposure, evaluate claims, and build litigation strategy — insight she now uses exclusively to advocate for employees and consumers.

She later served as Managing Partner at a mid-size plaintiffs’ law firm, where she supervised a team of attorneys and staff in successfully litigating consumer protection cases against all major automotive manufacturers. In that role, she also launched and led the firm’s employment law department, expanding its practice to represent employees facing workplace violations.

Although Armig gained a significant strategic advantage from her time on the defense side, she is a plaintiff’s attorney at heart. That conviction is what ultimately led her to launching The JHP Firm, where she now holds employers accountable and advocates for individuals whose rights have been violated.

This work is deeply personal for Armig. She knows firsthand what it means to balance motherhood with a career — and what it costs when an employer uses that against you. Pregnancy discrimination, maternity leave retaliation, wrongful termination, and adverse treatment tied to family obligations are among the cases she is most passionate about fighting.
